Graph­ic com­par­isons of the best qual­i­ty photo out­put from sev­er­al afford­able dig­i­tal cam­eras. This is a method for choos­ing a dig­i­tal cam­era: look at all the best out­put from the dif­fer­ent cam­eras in con­sid­er­a­tion, and pick the best — the cam­era whose out­put qual­i­ty and char­ac­ter­is­tics you like most over­all.

This search took place mid 2008, when some of them were already old, oth­ers were brand new — so now a few of these mod­els may be dif­fi­cult to find brand new, but any one of them can be pur­chased cheap­ly now, either new or used (Hur­ry while they’re still in stock!). While these cam­eras are all old­er mod­els, they make good bud­get, sec­ond, or pock­etable cam­eras because as you can see by the links below, all of them take great photographs:
