Also known as the Peters World Map. An area-accu­rate world map by Dr. Arno Peters, made pub­lic in Ger­many in 1974. Also called an equal-area map, because it shows all coun­tries equal­ly accord­ing to their real and actu­al size. [expla­na­tion]
