Experimented with infrare (IR) photographic film in the Mojave desert, southern California, in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Claimed to discover atmospheric life (“bioforms”), which he captured on the IR film. Authored a cult book on his discoveries, The Cosmic Pulse of Life. [video]
